Gaming Laboratories International LLC (GLI), a game testing expert and technical consultancy, has appointed Phil Harrison, pictured, as senior manager of regulatory development, compliance and quality assurance at GLI Australia Pty Ltd. Harrison will work at the company’s laboratory in Adelaide, Australia.
Harrison will work with regulators and customers across GLI’s Australian and Asian markets in the new role, it said in a press release.

GLI is one of the largest international independent providers of testing, inspection and certification services to the gaming, betting and lottery industries.
The company has developed several global technical standards, many of which are recognized and adopted by jurisdictions around the world.
Harrison dates back to 1994, when he first introduced gaming consoles in the gaming industry. After 16 years at local regulators, he recently served as an executive and director of Club Safe, an initiative in the Australian club industry, supporting gaming-related clubs and encouraging responsible gambling.
