Jeju will host Incheon United in the 34th round

Jeju United will look to erase the shadow of direct relegation on the first leg of the Final Round.

Jeju will host Incheon United in the 34th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 and the first match of the Final Round on Saturday, October 19 at 4:30 p.m. at the Incheon Football Stadium. Jeju currently sits in eighth place in the league with 41 points from 13 wins, two draws and 18 losses. The gap between them and bottom-placed Incheon (32 points) is nine points. A win would virtually eliminate the risk of direct relegation.

They also have the head-to-head advantage. Jeju has the upper hand in their three meetings with Incheon this season, winning two and losing one. However, they can’t let their guard down. All three meetings this season have ended in a 1-0 scoreline, or one goal difference. The tightly contested matches are expected to be no different this time around. Both teams will need to be more focused and engaged, especially now that they are in the fateful final round.

The recent form has been favorable for Jeju.

Jeju has won three and lost two of their last five matches. Incheon, on the other hand, has just one win in its last five matches and is winless in its last four matches 파워볼사이트 (one draw and three losses). There is also a difference in firepower. Jeju has scored six goals in its last five matches, while Incheon has scored just two goals in five matches. Jeju, in particular, has been promising, with Yuri (second field goal of the season) and Kim Joo-gong (first league goal of the season) coming alive in their last matchup in Round 33.

The team is also looking forward to the return of Nam Tae-hee from injury. Nam Tae-hee played four games after joining Jeju in July before being sidelined with an injury, but he made an impressive comeback in the 33rd round match against Daejeon. Substituted in the 17th minute of the second half with the score tied 1-1, Nam calmly kept the ball in a chaotic situation in front of the goal to set up Kim Joo-gong’s game-winning goal.

“Staying up is the priority. We want to win against Incheon first and look higher than we are now. We are only two points behind seventh-place Gwangju. Staying in the competition is our priority, but we also want to finish the season in the highest position in the Final B with good results in the remaining five matches. We will do our best against Incheon, which is the first step in that challenge, and bring a good result.”
