Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel Remediation Plan

Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel on Long Island is gearing up for some major upgrades for 2023 as it wants to transform itself into a more premium resort destination for New Yorkers. 우리카지노탑 The Game Amenity plans to double its video lottery terminal next year, as well as non-gambling attractions. The project will be overseen by New York State Senator Phil Boyle.

In January, Mr. Boyle will be appointed president of Suffolk OTB, a Long Island off-track betting and VLT operator that owns Jake’s 58. Since its opening in February 2017, casinos have offered more than 1,000 VLTs to many customers, but now casino executives plan to make the expansion of the card even more attractive to local and travel customers.

Long Island Casino has been the most profitable gaming facility outside of New York City since its introduction to the market. For the fiscal year 2021/2022, from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, the casino generated $248.7 million in revenue. Only Resort World New York City with $628.4 million and Empire State Casino with $315.4 million earned more total game revenue.

Casino Hotel executives shared their intention to add more VLTs to the game floor. This will be possible after the state earlier signed a bill with Suffolk County’s VLT to allow off-track betting facilities to host up to 2,000 VLTs. Currently, casinos are limited to up to 1,000 VLT machines.

An extension of the gaming convenience legislation was sponsored by Mr. Boyle, and the measure passed the State House and Senate in the summer. However, final approval from New York Gov. Cathy Hochul is still needed. Mr Boyle believes he can help Suffolk OTB move to the next level and leverage his connections to help the casino grow.

The future president of Suffolk OTB said the company will invest in amenities and attractions such as Atlantic City, and will have more parking space. So it’s going to be about 2,000. This includes renovating the casino’s restaurant, as well as finding a retail sports betting license. Boyle says 227 hotel rooms will also undergo maintenance.

Speaking of casino expansion in New York, in April, the local government officially included a fast track of three casino licenses for downtown New York. This will speed up the process and allow three applicants to open commercial game venues in the area. Some of the possible locations include existing operators who want to expand to Times Square, Hudson Yaz, or live tables.

Just recently, the SL Green real estate company and Caesars Entertainment announced their joint efforts to attract casinos to Times Square. The two have already begun actively trying to get local restaurants, retailers, and construction workers to participate in the project. However, there may be extreme opposition to the bidding because it requires local support and it deals with huge competition.
