Northern New York Casino Hires Employees This Week

Just recently, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady announced that it will hold a job fair to fill various positions. The recruitment event will be held on March 28, 2023, from 10am to 2pm at the property’s event center. There will be about 50 seats available depending on the different locations and levels that candidates can choose from.

Reverse Casino & Resort Shenectadi is one of four commercial casino properties in the northern region that began operations in 2017. 슬롯머신 Casinos are also popular workplaces because they have been named the best jobs by the Times Union for five consecutive years. In a statement, Casino reminded that there will be a recruitment event at the event center on March 28, 2023, and that there will be about 50 job vacancies in other positions. The Reverse Casino HR team will conduct on-site interviews with candidates expressing interest in one or several possible positions at the Northern Casino.

Some of the jobs available range from security guards to dealers and casino supervisors. There are also food, drinks, hospitality and marketing positions. Also, applicants must be at least 18 years old in some of the jobs, and at least 21 in others. The HR team reminds everyone who will attend to bring their work resumes.

Approved applicants must also undergo criminal background checks before they are officially hired. They also need to show a personal and positive attitude as well as a certain amount of flexibility, while also getting game license approval from the state. When this is all over, they will be able to join the casino’s expert team.

Full-time positions come with paid leave, medical/dental/vision plans, 401(k) plans with company matches, tuition, fitness repayment programs and discounted meals. All positions also offer free shuttle bus services at local CDTA Blue Line stops. There is also a two-stage academy to train new recruits who want to become casino dealers.

Rivers Casino & Resort Shenectady takes great pride in its contribution to the local economy, just as employees donated more than 300 turkeys to local charities last Thanksgiving. Some of the organizations were Bethesda House, City Mission in Shenectady, Food Pantry for Capital Territory, Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, Joseph House & Shelter in Shenectady, Safe Inc., and St Joan Ark Senior Mill.

Casino’s gambling brand is also available online, as Rush Street Interactive, which operates the property, launched its mobile sportsbook app on January 8, 2022. The app, along with Caesars Sports Book, DraftKings and FanDual, became the first platform to launch into the state’s online sports betting market, with total betting handling exceeding $20 billion in March this year.
