The Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) announced today that it has closed candidate registration for its 19th Presidential Election and that current President Koo Ja-cheol and Pungsan Group Advisor Kim Wonseop have filed their candidacy. The election of the 19th president will be held through a general meeting of delegates on the 10th floor of the KPGA Building in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, at 2 p.m. on March 23.Direct voting by delegates will be conducted and a majority of delegates must be present. The winner of the majority of all valid votes cast will be elected .The 19th president will serve a four-year term from January 2024 to December 2027.
