Isma Anternayehu Dagnatzu (ETH) won the men’s international division of the Dong-A Ilbo 2023 Gyeongju International Marathon. Dagnautsu was the first to finish the 42.195-kilometer full course, which started at Hwangseong Park Square in front of Gyeongju Civic Sports Complex, went through Seorabal Street, Gyeongju Museum, Geumjang Bridge, and back to Hwangseong Park Square, in 2 hours, 11 minutes, 31 seconds. “I’m happy to get a good result in a tough race without a pacer,” he said. Second-placed Kipkorir Katam (Kenya) finished in 2:11:52, 21 seconds slower than Dagnatsiu.
